Here we go again

Hey everyone! 

So my time as an AuPair came to an end. On Sunday I had to leave my wonderful host family for the next couple of weeks - so yeah I'm coming back soon, but I cried anyway. 

I had some cool last days with amazing people, we even made it to go to the beach for a few hours, even though my packing was a disaster. 

So now I'm on the ferry with Lennart & Jaqueline - my travel buddies - on our way down to the South Island. I'm really excited about it, it's going to be so cool! 

The pictures below are from my last days at my wonderful 2nd home. I'm overly grateful that I was able to live there in those last 8 months & it'll be always in my heart! 

Thanks again to my host family & all the best for Vicky, who is taking over now! 

I'm trying (again) to post more in the following weeks, so that's the start... :D

Every Child Is A Gift

Hey there!

I finally found some time to get started on my pictures again, wuhu!
Heaps of things have been happening over the last weeks and so there are just a feeew new pictures.. :p
I've been on a road trip with Philip and my sister, who has been visiting me for 2 weeks, Philip and I did a Northland tour, I've been to Queenstown for a week and at the moment Sophie is living with us. Yeah, it's (been) a good time!

So today I worked on some pictures of the kids. Every time I'm looking at pictures of them and thinking of those moments with them, I realize what kind of awesome kids they are eventhough they drive me insane sometimes - but hey thats okay, because every little moment here was made special by them! Every little thing they did and do is a gift, because everything they do teaches me something and gives our every day life a little bit of an extra adventure. That's what it is about, every little thing deserves to be appreciated and kids do teach you that - that's why every child is a gift.

I took those pictures of them at Langs Beach on one of my sisters' first days here. Hope you enjoy them!

Here are just a couple of impressions from my amazing week in the Deep South - in Queenstown and Milford Sound!

I haven't worked on those pictures yet, but this landscape around here needs nearly no additional work, it's that natural beautiful! 

I have met heaps of lovely people and don't want to leave tomorrow... Cheers to an amazing week!

Mt Maunganui

Just came across these pictures of my trip between Christmas and New Year. Unfortunately I lost my 16gb SD-card with most of the pictures of those days (and a few more). I have a few left because I transfered them on my iPad straight away. But still 1000000 of pictures are lost and that huuurts ):
The more I am happy about those ones I show to you today and I hope you enjoy them!
They were taken at Mt Maunganui, the view was incredible and I spent a good time taking pictures with Caroline up there (this extended the time we needed for the walk just a little bit :D). ...anyway, enjoy!

Lovely Lily & yummy plums ♥

So today we went in our backyard to check on our plum tree - we came back with a whole lot of plums and there is still heaps more on the tree, YUM!
